We went and had our fingerprints taken yesterday for our I-600! It was quick! There were only 4 other people in the place waiting. Hopefully our I-600 will arrive quickly and we can file our dossier in Ethiopia.Saturday, March 21, 2009

Slowly but Surely
For the last two days I have sat down and cranked out what remains of our dossier. This weekend we have to pay a visit to a notary--should be a marathon visit. Once all of those documents are notarized, I have to redo my medical letter next week. I missed that the notary on my doctor's letter expires this June. It has to be one year from the date it is written.
Now, I eagerly await our 2nd fingerprinting appointment date. Knock on wood, our dossier should be done in May.

Fingerprinting
Just as I typed that we wouldn't hear from USCIS for another month on our fingerprinting, guess what arrived? In the mail on Saturday was our fingerprinting notice! I was so excited...until I opened it. Our fingerprinting appointment has been scheduled for a time that we will be in London. I was supposed to go today to mail the request for a date change but it snowed and I am indoors all day.
