Going for the Last Piece of the Puzzle

We went and had our fingerprints taken yesterday for our I-600! It was quick! There were only 4 other people in the place waiting. Hopefully our I-600 will arrive quickly and we can file our dossier in Ethiopia.

Our second fingerprinting notices came in the mail today. We can make these appointments!! Yipppeeee!

Slowly but Surely

For the last two days I have sat down and cranked out what remains of our dossier. This weekend we have to pay a visit to a notary--should be a marathon visit. Once all of those documents are notarized, I have to redo my medical letter next week. I missed that the notary on my doctor's letter expires this June. It has to be one year from the date it is written.

Now, I eagerly await our 2nd fingerprinting appointment date. Knock on wood, our dossier should be done in May.

Fingerprinting

Just as I typed that we wouldn't hear from USCIS for another month on our fingerprinting, guess what arrived? In the mail on Saturday was our fingerprinting notice! I was so excited...until I opened it. Our fingerprinting appointment has been scheduled for a time that we will be in London. I was supposed to go today to mail the request for a date change but it snowed and I am indoors all day.
